As you probably know by now, Michael Arnowitt will soon be leaving Central Vermont for new possibilities in Ann Arbor, MI. I certainly wish him well and trust it will be a good move for him.<br>
<br>
The City Council will be honoring him this week (Wednesday, 6:30) and on March 2 (1:00 in the House chamber) the State will honor him. I hope you will consider coming to both. On the 2nd he will be playing a short piece as well! For those who can, David Schutz has suggested folks come early on March 2 and have lunch in the cafeteria; unfortunately I can’t come for lunch but will be there at 1:00.<br>

Please pass this information on to others who know and love Michael and encourage them to come to one or the other or both.<br>

Also, of course, in his inimitable way, Michael is giving a farewell concert (Chopin’s 24 Preludes for piano) Sunday, March 5 at 3 pm<br>
in the Montpelier High School Auditorium. Tickets $20 general admission, students free. Available  at the door or in advance at Bear Pond Books in Montpelier (cash or checks only).<br>
