I used to play cello from middle school through college and beyond. Mostly F clef (bass), sometimes the “tenor” (A clef?) Tonight they had to sing in three different clefs: 1) the regular G clef in which they sing one octave below the altos and sopranos, 2) the G clef typically used by the altos and sopranos in which they had to sing one octave ABOVE what they typically sing, and 3) the bass clef they shared with basses.
