<div dir="ltr">Hello All,<div><br></div><div>I have just learned from Lynnette Combs, the music director at Christ Church, that about two weeks ago Arthur Zorn announced that he is retiring from his position as music director at Bethany Church this Sunday. We do not know the reason for Arthur's sudden resignation. One hopes that it is not health related. </div><div><br></div><div>Bethany was to host this year's Carol Sing on Dec. 8. With no replacement yet for Arthur, a recent change in music director at the Methodist church, and a performance of Messiah on Dec. 8 in the afternoon involving some members of our various choirs, Lynnette and I have decided that the stars are not in the right alignment for there to be a Carol Sing this year - this year's Carol Sing on Dec. 8, at 6:30 pm is hereby cancelled. </div><div><br></div><div>There will be discussion next year to consider whether to try it again.</div><div><br></div><div>Dick </div><div><br></div><div></div></div>
