<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>Thank you for all the effort and thoughts. Planning this event has highlighted a number of important topics, one of which is process. Lisa and I just spoke on the phone, and neither of us are feeling comfortable with pursuing this event at this time. I had hoped that this event would bring about some fun, important conversations about consumerism, and how we can support our local economy however it's felt a bit polarizing. Part of this is our team is new: we're getting to know each other, how we work as a committee, etc., but at this point I'm going to put a personal pause on planning the event. Hi, The Climate Action Team is planning singing adapted carols etc. on Black Friday with the themes of consume less, buy local, and bypass Amazon . People will meet at 1 PM at UCM to practice the music , go downtown to sing and return for refreshments. We would love for you to join us. It should be fun even if the planning is a bit last moment. I've misplaced Dan Jones' original invitation. I've copied Dan so he can correct any of my description and tell us any updates. Harris
