<div style="color:black;font: 10pt arial;">Hello dear choir members,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Dick, Eliza, Donia & I are the planning committee coordinating the UCM service for May 31st. Our plan is to focus on the power of music in our lives, especially now that we as a choir are feeling the absence of singing together and singing for the congregation. Because Zoom has so much potential for technical glitches, we can't have too many actual speakers -- but we really, really want the choir to have a strong presence in this service.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Thus, we are inviting all of you to send to me (Ginny, at vamarie@aol.com) your reflections on the role of music in your life. It needn't be long, though it can be. It can be joyful, or you could be feeling grief that we can't sing together right now. Or both. Plus lots of other things. <span style="font-style: italic;">Whatever </span>you are feeling, <span style="font-style: italic;">whatever </span>is important to you. You can submit your reflection anonymously, or, we can use your name. Totally your choice. We just want to convey the power of music within our church community, and who better to capture that than the choir?</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Please do not worry about something being beautifully written. This isn't an essay contest. Just be authentic, share and say what matters to you.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Then, on May 31st, we will share these readings interspersed between various pieces of recorded music. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Thank you so much in advance for participating,</div>
<div>Ginny</div>

</div>

</div>
<div>PS, there is no deadline right now but please let me hear from you sooner rather than later. Thanks!<br>
