<div dir="ltr">Actually, that picture is from our back hill, not our deck. This one is from our deck, and overlooks our steep curving driveway, with a wide view of the forest and mountains. We are at 5600 feet and these mountains are higher. Yes, we are surrounded by Prescott National Forest in the Prescott area, and we can see much of it from our house. And yet we are only one and a half miles from downtown Prescott and the Courthouse Plaza, the old Territorial Capital of Arizona. Prescott has nearly 40,000 people, with 90,000 in the "Quad City" area, which is all about a 2 hour drive NW of Phoenix, a huge sprawling desert city that I'm glad I don't live in anymore. Even though it too, can be a beautiful place, especially in the winter. <div><br></div><div>And one of our two 750 water gallon tanks has now filled up with water after today's rain!<div><br></div><div>-Kellie</div></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Wed, Jun 30, 2021 at 5:29 PM Kellie Hart <<a href="mailto:hartsongsmusic@gmail.com">hartsongsmusic@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">Hi All: Today is my last "official" day working for UCM! I've been finishing up loose ends -typing up my last interview notes for the Music History Project, and transferring some videos over to a folder for Joan.<div><br></div><div>I will remember you all so fondly, and all the good work we did together, staying connected and keeping music in our hearts and in the services on Sunday mornings for everyone at UCM. Then, meeting you all in person was truly a blessing. Good luck with all the building renovations and the various transitions at UCM. Be well and sing something every day! I look forward to eventually hearing about all the good things you will continue to do in Central Vermont!</div><div><br></div><div>I have attached a picture from our deck last night -a little rain blew away the smoke we had been breathing for a couple of days, from the nearby forest fires. Then today we had a long, hard rain, even hail. Please keep Arizona and our dry climate and conservative ways in your thoughts and prayers! We are changing, as is the world, and I hope enough good people can keep doing enough good work to make those changes good ones. I love the wide open spaces here and the beautiful sunsets and the diverse people. But I will always treasure my work with you all and now the various images of the lush, "green season" in Vermont are forever with me.</div><div><br></div><div>Much love, Kellie </div></div>
