<div dir="auto">I watched it last night and agree with what people said. It's really great that three young members have joined us and more want to join. This is thanks to you Donia. You and Eliza with your talents have brought us this far!!! Thank you!!</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Amy</div><div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Mon, Nov 6, 2023 at 11:56 AM Donia Prince via Choir <<a href="mailto:choir@unitarianchurchofmontpelier.org">choir@unitarianchurchofmontpelier.org</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">Hi everyone,<br><div><br></div><div>I have heard some great feedback about "Bridge", which I wanted to pass on.</div><div>One congregant said it was the best rendition of the song she has ever heard!</div><div>Pat Carstensen said she was very moved by it and wanted to be sure to thank YOU.<br></div><div>Peter Thoms said that he and Scott Hess were standing in the back and it was the first time, in 50 years of hearing that song, that they had ever heard the line "when you're on the street", and they found that particularly powerful. Thank you all!</div><div><br></div><div>Also, tomorrow, Tuesday eve, is the next Committee of Chairs meeting. Since we don't have a standing Music Committee, we don't have a Chair! I plan to be there arriving late, but would love if any of you would like to come to help represent music/choir. It also sounds like there will be what could be an interesting discussion. Let me know if you would like to come, or, if you are already planning to be there in another capacity, would be willing to share a music update as I might not be there for that portion. (I can give you what you can say if you'd like.) Here's the blurb: </div><div><i>Tomorrow, <b>Tuesday, November 7, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM</b> in the Vestry at UCM (and on Zoom, link below) we will have our first Committee of Chairs Meeting of the Church Year! Apologies for the late reminder, but I hope it's been on your calendars -- Leslie Parr and Hugo Liepmann will be co-facilitating, and Rev. Joan will be leading a discussion on Developmental Ministry, an approach to building our congregation following COVID-19, flooding, etc. <br></i></div><div><i><br></i></div><div><i>Each committee/group/team represented will also be invited to share a "90-second update," just a brief few sentences about what you have been working on, and what you have coming up. </i></div><div><i><br></i></div><div>See you Thursday!</div><div>Donia</div></div>
