I really enjoyed our time together and was so grateful for your willingness to go on the journey of exploration I invited you to join me in (despite its peculiarity and/or vulnerability at times). </div><div><br></div><div>I hope you'll keep connecting with your bodies and voices in different ways that keep that conversation fresh and alive, ever and always, both as you warm up and sing together, and in your individual lives.</div><div><br></div><div>I hope you'll use the warming up time to warm up the connection between yourself and your voice and body as well as each other.</div><div><br></div><div>I hope you'll keep exploring what is possible in expression and connection when you take the music into your heart and don't have to be in your head to remember words or notes as muc (or at all!). </div><div><br></div><div>I hope you'll keep playing with the idea of <i>supporting</i> one another, your community, Donnia, and the music itself, as you sing together. </div><div><br></div><div>I hope you keep letting love lead the way in your work together, and experience all the love in all the music you sing, big enough to, at least, help fill in the gaps between the world we dream of and the one we live in day by day. As I told you, I'm early in the journey of sharing my voice work with groups, but I plan to do it a lot, so this was a great opportunity for me. I welcome knowing more about your experience and perspective (though no pressure).</div><div><br></div><div>With care and appreciation,</div><div>David</div><div><br></div><div>PS - The word on the street was Bridge Over Trouble Water <i>connected</i> with people! </div><div><br></div><div><br clear="all"><div><br></div><span class="gmail_signature_prefix">-- </span><br><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><font face="monospace" color="#666666"><b>David Ruffin</b></font><div><font face="monospace" color="#444444">he/him </font></div><div><font face="monospace"><br></font><div><font face="monospace"><b><a href="http://www.davidruffinvoice.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">www.davidruffinvoice.com</a></b></font></div></div><div><font face="monospace" color="#444444">"The voice is the muscle of the soul" </font></div><div><font face="monospace">~ Alfred Wolfsohn</font></div></div></div></div></div>
