
<html><head></head><body><div style="font-family:Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;"><div style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"><div>Dear CoC Members,</div><div><br></div><div>The Membership Committee and Rev. Joan are once again sponsoring the New UU class this spring. Part A, led by Rev. Joan, will take place on Wed. evening 4/4 and will focus on spiritual journeys and UU history and theology. Part B will take place on Sat. morning 4/7 and will focus on UCM's mission and programs, as well as the meaning of membership. As in the past, we would like to have a few lay leaders join us to present their perspectives on church programs and activities. Recently we have emphasized RE, social justice, Welcoming Congregation, church history, and governance. However, we don't want the folks who represent those areas to feel tapped out, nor do we want anyone else to feel excluded. </div><div><br></div><div>So this note is an invitation to any of you who would <b>like</b> an opportunity to speak to the class participants (potential new members) to make your wishes known. If you would like a slot on our agenda, please contact me directly (do not reply to CoC) <b>by next Wednesday 3/28</b>.The invitation is open to chairs, Board, staff and ET members alike. Because class time is limited, I may have to prioritize, but things have a way of working out. </div><div><br></div><div>Let me know if you have questions. We look forward to having some of you with us for a fruitful discussion with our New UU's.</div><div><br></div><div>Best,</div><div>Judith</div><div>jrhinds1185@yahoo.com</div><div><br></div></div></div></body></html>
