<div><div style="font-family:Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;"><div><b>Minimum Wage Hearing</b></div><div>The Vermont House General Committee is holding a public hearing on whether to raise the minimum wage to $15/hr. More than 25,000 working Vermonters currently live on the minimum wage today. Poverty wages disproportionately harm women and people of color in Vermont. 45% of women and 60% of African Americans in Vt. are earning under $15. </div><div>Join us for a critical hearing in the Raise the Wage campaign - either come to share your story or stand with us in solidarity. Let's pack the Statehouse!</div><div><b>Thursday - April 5 - 5:00-7:00 p.m.</b></div><div><b>Vermont Statehouse - Room 11</b></div><div>If you want to testify contact Melissa Battah at melissa @viavt.org</div></div></div>
