Hello All,
Please read Amy Tatko's update below on Art Stucky's condition. If it is
possible to help out with food for Sue and daughter Lizzie, please contact
Amy.
We will bring some vegetarian chili on Monday.

Dear Friends -
Some of you may know, and some may not, that Art Stukey has been in the ICU
at Fletcher Allen since Sunday. With Sue's blessing, I am reaching out to
you for help providing meals for her and their daughter Lizzie, who arrived
from Chicago yesterday and is staying at their house.
Art was having localized seizures that were causing increasingly intense
muscle spasms in one arm and leg. He was admitted to Fletcher Allen on
Sunday, and doctors sedated and intubated him to control the seizures in
order to prevent harm and figure out what was causing the seizures. Today
Art went off the sedation and intubation, and he was awake and interacting.
Tests have been done, and we're waiting for a diagnosis and treatment.
Sue does not feel that visitors at the hospital are a good idea at this
time, but she could use some support to stay well fed to keep up her
strength.
Sue is gluten free and mentioned that soups would be great. I took some
homemade soup and other items to her and Lizzie this evening. Could any of
you help in the coming days? Could someone commit to providing food
tomorrow? And someone else on Saturday? Just leave your items on the
Stukeys' porch (120 College Street) any time of day before early evening.
Could others drop off food on Sunday to help Sue get through the week?
Please reply-all, so everyone can see who can do which days. We need one
volunteer for Friday, one for Saturday, and as many as possible for Sunday
to stock up for the week.
Thank you all! And please feel free to forward this email and/or ask others
who may want to pitch in. (Dick, perhaps you could let the choir know?)
Love,
Amy
