[Choir] UCM choir--friendly people wanted; and who wants to kayak?

Hello!

First, as Lindsay brought up at our last rehearsal, she would like to
organize a kayak/canoe get-together at Wrightsville Beach.  Boats are
available to rent there for a small fee.  Please contact Lindsay if you are

The UCM music committee talked about additional social activities--ideas
that had been brought up at the retreat--and while we had some good
discussion about what might work and be welcome and useful, in the end we
thought there might be a handful of people in the choir who are
particularly interested in nurturing this aspect of our group, and would
enjoy taking this on.  That is, deciding on events and dates, and then
being responsible for the communication and logistics.

This would not be a huge commitment, maybe just facilitating a few potlucks
and possibly one or 2 other events. ( Hedy has already notified us of her
status as "Potluck Queen"!)

and I will pass on relevant notes from the retreat and our meetings, and
facilitate getting you all in contact with each other.
