I stumbled on excellent training videos for Sunday’s Haydn! (Soprano link
below, but there’s alto, tenor, and bass links if you go to the page).

On a related note, I recently I talked with a friend who stopped singing
with a group because the Christian words chafed against her belief system.
I was sad to hear it, especially since most sacred music speaks to me
deeply when I get to the heart of it. For example, I offer to you a literal
and a metaphorical translation of the words for Agnus Dei.
> Latin:
Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi,
miserere nobis.
dona nobis pacem.
> English (Literal):
Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world,
have mercy upon us.
grant us peace.
> English (what it means to me when I am singing it)
Most gentle person, who is willing to sacrifice Self for the benefit of
others,
Show us compassion,
May we find Peace.
