[Choir] Songs for Darlene

Hi Folks,


Yesterday, Darlene and I had an appointment with the neurologist, Dr. Deborah Black (she has played cello for us at times, and her brother, Jonathan, sang with us for a while). I mentioned that a few folks had come and sung for Darlene. Deborah feels that this kind of activity would be very helpful for Darlene.


So, I'm putting out a call for anyone who might like to come to our house and sing some day. Susan has shared a song with a few of us that is quite beautiful (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuRpHnz2ZJo). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuRpHnz2ZJo I was thinking that a few of us might become familiar with it and maybe do it in church some day, either as a small group or with the whole choir (if Dick thinks it would be appropriate). The song is titled Abendlied (Morning Song).


If this might interest you, let me know by reply mail, and I'll try to set up a time that's convenient for everyone. I can also send you a copy of the music that you will see as the u tube is playing..


I'm hoping that this would be something that would be enjoyable for us and therapeutic for Darlene.
