Announcement to UCM Choir regarding July 16 memorial service



Hello Choir Members,

  The  Women’s Alliance has been asked to arrange the reception for Linda
Abbott’s memorial service on Sunday, July 16, which we shall do.  The
service is at 1:00 and we expect the reception to start around 2:00 or
2:15.   We
would greatly appreciate contributions from you of savory or sweet “finger
food” and/or possibly your help in working at the reception.  Food items
may be brought to the church by 12:30 on that Sunday.  Please label all key
ingredients and any dishes you wish to reclaim.  Please let Sandal Cate  (
sandal at sover.net, 223-6466)  or Janet Poeton  (jmspoet at gmail.com, 433-1706)
know if you can contribute or if you need to leave food somewhere before
Sunday.   The reception tasks include:

 serving hot & cold drinks;  (from 2:00-3:00)

managing food on the serving table; (from 2:00-3:00)

general clean up in the Vestry and kitchen after 3:00.

For the most part Alliance members will attend to these, but extra hands
are always welcome, especially with picking up at the end.    Your help
will be greatly appreciated, and we understand if you cannot do so for this
event.  We hope to see you there.  Keeping thoughts of Linda’s family in
our hearts, Sandal and Janet from the Women's Alliance
