A good Saturday morning to you, Choir Folk,

I just received a phone call from Dave Abbott who confirmed that Linda is
in her last days. And as I mentioned on Thursday, he would love for as many
in the choir who are interested and available to sing in Linda's memorial
service, which has now been scheduled for Sunday, July 16, at 1 pm. Could
you please let me know if you would like to be a part of that service?

The music that Dave has in mind includes "These Green Mountains," "Simple
Gifts," and Handel's "Where're You Walk" which was sung at both their
wedding, and their daughter's wedding. "Where're You Walk" is a solo aria
but I will check our choral library to see if we have a setting for chorus.
I'll get back to you on whether you'll be singing that.

I believe that we will be able to sing "These Green Mountains" and "Simple
Gifts" with minimal rehearsal, probably just that morning. But let me get
back to you on that.
