[Choir] New Year Gathering! Save the Date!

Hello everyone!

We (the Music Committee) is planning a choir get together in early January,
for an opportunity to socialize as well as to hear everyone's thoughts and
feedback on how the choir's participation went in the 2 services, so that
we can determine how best to move forward.  Time and place:   Thursday Jan
3rd at 5:00, before rehearsal, in the Children's Chapel.
We'll start with a very informal potluck at 5 then start sharing our
thoughts and feedback around 5:30.  Please bring finger foods only that
don't require heating and messy serving, as this will all be in the
Children's Chapel!  Definitely no soups and stews!
Please reflect before then on how you felt the plan for the fall went.
 Namely:   the choir has been singing at the first service on the first
Sunday of the month, and the 2nd service all other Sundays.
How did you feel this worked for you personally, for the choir, and for the
congregation?  What seems best going forward?
If you have any other specific questions you'd like the group to address,
either related to the 2 services or otherwise, please let me or someone
else on the music committee know before then.  We know there might be other
topics people might like to discuss as a group--while we probably won't
have time at this particular gathering to talk about more than the 2
services,  we'd like to know what's on people's minds.
