Thank you so very deeply for all the cards, warm wishes and love-filled
food...how blessed are we to be held by such a loving community....

I received this from my dear friends, Celina Moore and Erik Esselstyn and
wanted to share it with all of you:

Dave the patient teacher

Dave the father of Jim

Dave who ordered our onion sets

Dave who started the East Montpelier Energy Committee

Dave the father-in-law of Nancy

Dave who I stood beside in choir, he knew the notes

Dave the patient husband of Darlene

Dave seeming always settled and grounded

Dave, careful, wore suspenders and a belt

Dave whom I looked to for a model of steadiness

Dave always with a measured, sensible assessment

Dave with a sometime reticent smile that lifted all our hearts

Dave whom we'll keep alive in fond memories.
