Dear Choir,
When you are warming up your voices at 6:30 on Thursday evenings, you can know that I am also beginning choir rehearsal with a warmup. Choir time is the same here as there.
As lucky as you are to sing with a great director; I want you know that I am with a small (+/-12) but mighty choir and also a very good director. The tenor I sit beside is very good and, what is more, patient and kind. Two of the women are very capable soloists and make complex music flow in perfect time and intonation and color. It’s a privilege to sing with them. This is a UCC church and so it is Jesus focused, but quite amazingly liberal and freed from dogma.

So I do miss you. I can picture you in your usual places. I will especially remember you as I settle into a new place and learn new music. See you in the Spring.
Love,
Eric
