Hi!

I was sorry to have missed the tenor fun last night!

We have a request from Charlotte and the Stewardship Committee to assist in
spring fundraising by a few of us singing some fun songs at a few times in
March to help encourage the stewardship efforts. The song choices would be
up to us, from a collection of clever songs with new words written by UU's
to well known songs, such as The Caisson Song, Summertime, Night and Day,
It's a Small World, Let's Fall in Love, and more.
These are the suggested times:

   - 10th: as people are arriving at the church on the 10th
   - 10th: 2 songs at 2 separate (but not far apart) times at the pledge
drive kickoff lunch party, after the 2nd service in the vestry
   - 17th: March 17th is music Sunday so maybe not at all on this day
   - 24th: approx. 2 songs at the final Sunday
   - Notes: I’d be thrilled if you wanted to make your own suggestions-
teach the congregation a song, etc

I think some of the songs and times would work best with a small group
singing together, some could work well as solos or duets with or w/o
accompaniment, particularly at the luncheon on the 10th and/or the final
Sunday service.
Please let me know if any of you would be willing to help out with this. I
don't think we would need everyone to do everything, so if you are willing
to commit to even just one day, and also a rehearsal, that would be
great! If you might be interested in doing a solo also let me know. I'd
be happy to forward on the song collection to anyone interested.
Those interested in the group singing would meet once or twice in late
Feb/early March to practice and decide which songs to do.

Thanks!
Donia
