I received from a request for the translation of Musika from Amy Wales, which I supplied. She responded as follows:

"The choir's rendition of this song today was absolutely beautiful. It brought me to tears."

As some of you may know, Amy is facing a serious health issue, so it pleases me to feel that our hard work on this lovely piece may have brought her some comfort.

I received two very heartfelt appreciations - one from Brian Predergast, and one from Paul Hartman - for your singing of Muusika this morning. Brian asked (in essence) what makes Estonian choral music so beautiful. Paul wept as he told me that listening to your singing this morning reminded him of going to Canterbury Cathedral.

I deeply appreciate that you were able to elevate your singing of Muusika so that it was heard, I think, both as the composer, and all of us, intended. There is no limit to where you can take your listeners!
