Good morning, choir folk,

Please read Joan's invitation to you to join the choir at the General
Assembly Choir at the UUA General Assembly in Providence, RI, on June
24-28. As you remember, Joan will be preaching at the worship service at
the Rhode Island Convention Center on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m..
This is an incredible honor and one that she would like to share with you.

And make sure that you read down to the PPS of Joan's note!

Dick

Hi Dick,

I wanted to extend a special invitation to our UCM Choir to participate in
General Assembly this year and to consider joining the General Assembly
Choir. More information here:
https://www.uua.org/ga/program/contribute/choir.

The GA Choir usually sings at two of the services throughout GA including
the Sunday Morning service. It would be such a thrill (and also comforting)
to have some UCM choir members in the mix!

The choir is open to lay people, clergy, choir directors...anyone who
registers for GA is eligible to be part of the choir!

Please do pass along this note to the choir. I'd love for some of them to
consider attending GA, and if some of them were in the choir as well, that
would warm my heart :)

Joan

PS - If anyone wants a sense of what it's like to sing with the choir, they
can watch pieces of this video of last year's Sunday morning service. The
choir is singing right at the start and again at 1:04:50 - two very
different pieces of music. https://www.uua.org/ga/past/2019/worship/sunday

PPS - Any UCM members who register and also serve as an official delegate
can have their registration fee paid by the church. The early registration
fee for the whole conference until March 15th is $400.
