[Choir] past, present, and future

Hi Everyone -
Today I awoke with Donia's song in my head and have been singing it all day to say focused on positive thinking.
I read on the New York Times site today that the number of cases in China is on the decline, while it is rising in all other countries. This I hope gives us a little barometer about the longevity of our own crisis. However it is so sad to think that there will be so much sickness here before that time.
We had a wonderful Zoom meeting of the Stewardship Team yesterday.
Dick, I was wondering if we can do a Zoom Choir time?
We could listen to beautiful music together (through the screen sharing feature) and learn more about their history, perhaps focusing on Unitarian music but also maybe on some of your own personal musical knowledge.
It might be a sort of music classroom now. We could even listen to some voice instruction and diction practice. The options are numerous.
It's just an idea so we might all have something to look forward to each week for now. I am not sure singing along with each other in Zoom would work There might be techy problems for some, but it works well with IPhones, and some of us know how to do it and could be helpful.
Thinking of you all -
Beth

Heart broken.
I will miss everyone and especially our singing.
I hope this will soon pass!

Dear All,
It was a very special experience to make music with you yesterday. The vibrancy of your singing communicated something important to listeners both near and far. (My cousin Tissy listened from Connecticut!)
As I think most of you now know, the service yesterday will be our last time together for a while. Future services have not yet been planned. Sadly, we will not be meeting on Thursdays to rehearse. Music Sunday will not happen on April 5.
I thank you for your voices - both for your beautiful singing voices and for those voices that express love and care for others.
'Til we meet again,
Dick
