Re: Montpelier businesses----I just talked with a woman who now works for
us who used to work for the city, and who called the head of Montpelier
Alive to see if they might be able to be such a clearing house for
donations/gift certificates. The logistics of them doing it would be too
much for them. However, sounds like there are many businesses, ours
included, who are actively trying to figure out how to allow people to buy
gift cards online. Stay tuned--I would say by next week many Montpelier
businesses and organizations will have the capacity to do that online.

Sad news--Sarducci's just closed (temporarily). 45 employees and one of
Montpelier's mainstays.
