[Choir] participation in Music Sunday

Hi all!

As Ginny mentioned in a previous email, Dick, Eliza, Ginny and I have been
planning a service for the new Music Sunday on May 31, vastly different
than the original conception.   It cannot, however,  be a real music Sunday
without the choir's involvement, nor with the congregation being able to
see the choir!
So, we would like to invite as many choir members as possible to join us in
a virtual choir gathering this Thursday at 7:30 pm, part of which we will
record and use as part of the Music Sunday service.  The gathering will be
focused on just one song--All God's Creatures have a place in the choir.

recording that we create will come right after the Time for all Ages, along
with some of the reflections about music and singing in the choir that some
of you have sent to Ginny.   (There will also be a more thoughtful song
related to the choir before which other of the reflections people sent will
be read.) I expect that on Thursday we would sing it through a couple times
so people can become familiarized with it enough to feel comfortable and
have fun  for the actual recording.  All told, this shouldn't take longer
than 1/2 hour.
Dick will send along the music.
