Hi All: A few updates:

1. We are making AUDIO only recordings of "Non Nobis Domine" for the
service for March 7. They are due at 2pm eastern time on Friday, March 5th
(a week from today). Since I'm asking for just audio, you should be able
to just email that to me directly from your Smartphones. I have put
updated recordings into the Shared Google Folder, which gives a slower
tempo and *4 times through.* You can listen to all 3 parts when you record
or just your part -your choice. Putting the clap in helps me line things
up.

2. Instructions for Recording:

Bring whatever audio track of "Non Nobis" you want to use up on your
computer or tablet. Plug in earbuds or headphones. Get your phone ready
to record (Voice Memo on I-Phones or Voice Recorder on Androids -you may
need to download an app "Smart Voice Recorder" if your phone didn't come
with this -check the little square icons). Push record first, then start
playing the recording on your computer/tablet, while listening to the
recording via headphones (take one out of your ear if you need to hear
yourself better, but you must listen to a track so we match up, and you
don't want your recording to pick up the track). Clap, then sing. Stop
recording. Stop computer audio track. Play back recording to check
quality -adjust settings/volume if need be. If you have to do more than 3
"takes," take a break! Remember things will sound better when we're all
blended in together -mostly try to get your words matched up with the
recording, don't worry too much about your tone quality! Remember,
CONNECTION OVER PERFECTION. Have FUN! Forward your audio to me via
email. Ask someone else from choir for help if you are having trouble
-Beth Damon is our official "tech person!"

3. If you have any artwork or photos that have a "timeless quality," you
can email those to me, too, for possible inclusion in the final video (or
for later use, if I can't use it this time. Thanks!

4. I found the PDF for "There is a Love" and put it in the Shared Folder.
I don't have a date yet for this piece -possibly Easter, but you can start
listening and practicing. You can find the links to the YouTube audio
tracks in the Singers' Guide, also in the Shared Folder -the music will
automatically come up on the audio track, if you prefer to practice that
way.

Thanks for a great rehearsal last night, and I hope to see most of you at
next week's rehearsal! -Kellie
