Vicky, thanks for this -- even though I didn't find either your behavior or Lily's to be disruptive! I'm glad to know you took the time to be there for your neighbor in her time of need.

Subject: [Choir] An apology and explanation.

For those of you at the practice on Thursday, I wanted to apologize for coming late to practice instead of early to get Lily settled. My neighbor had called about 3:00 to let me know that her father had unexpectedly died.  I took the time to cut a bunch of lilacs for her house, which made me late.  Lily is normally very quiet and not whining.  She may have been expressing her regret about not being able to go and say hi to everybody. I do have to give her credit for being very well behaved otherwise.  I need to readjust to Lily and I being with people.Unitarian Church of Montpelier
