[Choir] another covid case

Hi all,

I regret to report we have another covid case in our choir.  Lindsay Wade
would like you all to know that she tested positive this morning.  She has
mild symptoms.
She says she was feeling totally fine on Thursday evening but started
feeling off on Friday.  Her test on Friday was negative.  So with the
timing it is extremely unlikely either that she contracted the virus at
choir, or was at all infectious on Thursday.   She doesn't really know how
she might have gotten it, but suspects it might have been through someone
she walks with who had just returned from an area with an outbreak.

Out of an abundance of caution I just tested myself and am negative.

I think we are still fine proceeding with choir in-person as long as we are
conscientious about our  distancing and wearing high quality masks.  And of
course if you feel at all unwell, don't come to choir.  Also, if you have
any unease that you might have been in an unsafe situation, test yourself
before coming to rehearsal.  We will however have a zoom option again this
week for those who want to be more cautious.

If anyone else ends up testing positive, please let me know.  Your name
will not be shared unless you give permission.

I highly encourage anyone who is on Medicare to take advantage of getting
all of the free tests that are available to you.  You can get 8 tests a
month from the big pharmacy chains--eg, Walgreens, CVS on Rte 302.  (So try
to get your 8 for April in the next week.) I still hope that this current
surge relaxes soon (that was the original prediction!), but if it doesn't
we might have to be doing some regular testing in the weeks prior to and on
Music Sunday.  Having an abundance of tests available in the choir will
help us proceed as normally as possible (anyone remember normal?;)
