[Choir] Singing live on May 8th

Hi!

We discussed this at our last rehearsal but I wanted to confirm the details
with you all today, since I believe it will be announced during the service
tomorrow.

We will be singing live at Sunday May 8th's church service!   And because
of the continued high covid numbers in Wash Co, we ask each of you to take
a rapid test that morning before coming to the church.  This is both for
actual safety and to help ease the minds of the congregation--it will be
announced that the choir will have tested.

Let me know if you don't have access to a test --we have some extras for
those who don't.  But a reminder that anyone on Medicare can get 8 free
tests a month from major pharmacies.  Also let me know if you would like
help administering it that morning.

We will be singing Sing Gently.  *Please arrive in the sanctuary ready to
sing by 8:45 am.* *(That's NEXT week, not tomorrow!)* We will warm-up, go
over hymns and rehearse for 1/2 hour.   Then there will be a tech rehearsal
for the service, which we will stay in the sanctuary for.   In the future
we probably won't have to do this, but being the first time we want to be
sure there aren't any unexpected technical concerns.

This is an exciting milestone!  SO happy we have finally made it here!
