[Choir] next week, and our party/gathering

Hello everyone!

First, thanks for your very hard work at our last rehearsal!  I encourage
each of you as possible to listen to the whole piece Galaxias if you

As you are doing so, try to just sing out and enjoy yourself, not being
overly concerned about getting the words right or even hitting the right
notes all the time!  We will not be perfect but it will be a beautiful
offering in large part due to the spirit you put into it!

We decided at Thursday's rehearsal to have a shortened rehearsal on the
Thursday between Christmas and New Year's, followed by a social
gathering/informal dinner, where we can also talk some about how things are
going, etc.   At this point I am thinking that I will just provide a really
big pot of Turkey chili, and then we would just need a few
salads/bread/beverages.  That can be still such a busy time for people and
would rather not have the feeling of everyone being "required" to bring a
potluck item.  Maybe have a sign up sheet with no pressure to sign up.  Is
there anyone who might be willing to take on creating such a sign up sheet
and keeping track of it?
