[Choir] rehearsal SATURDAY IN PERSON?!

Hello all,

Covid trends are finally looking very good;  unless there is a
dramatic change for the worse we should be out of "severe" status by the
end of the week!  However, as you probably have heard, a major storm with
both rain and snow is arriving on Thursday.

So, we will tentatively plan on an IN-PERSON rehearsal on SATURDAY, in the
SANCTUARY, at 1:00 PM-2:30 PM.  I hope most of you can make it!  (I know
morning might be better for some of you, but we are working with Eliza's
teaching schedule.).

(If both the forecast changes, AND we are out of severe status by Thursday,
there is still the possibility for an in-person rehearsal Thursday night.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAILS THURSDAY late morning/early afternoon FOR THE
LATEST!)

On Thursday, instead of rehearsal, we will have an optional zoom
conversation at 6:30 to talk about the formation of a music committee:
what that means, what would be its purpose, etc.  Attendance at this
conversation doesn't imply commitment.  Please come if you are just curious
and interested in the role of music in general at UCM.  I expect this to
last 1/2 to 1 hour.  I'll send a zoom link on Thursday.

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SATURDAY'S REHEARSAL*
There is now a vaccination requirement, with a testing option, to
participate in the choir.  There are only a handful of people--mostly those
who did not participate in the Christmas recording--for whom I haven't
received a copy of or seen your vaccination card.  Or who might need to
make arrangements to be tested.   If you are among those and plan to now
participate in-person, please either send me a picture of your card, let me
know you will be bringing it Saturday, or get in touch with me about
testing plans.

I'll be in touch Thursday to confirm all of this!
