[Choir] This Thursday's rehearsal

Hello!

Thank you all for a great rehearsal last Saturday!  I know that not being
able to hear was frustrating and exhausting--we will get a microphone set
up for the future (I mean, we have all those microphones there..)

We (and by we I mean you) all will be rehearsing this Thursday from
6:30-8:00 in the sanctuary.

Lani will be responsible for the practical aspects of rehearsal.

Verdis will be leading you in warm-ups and in recording 2 hymns, for use in
the service on Feb13th.  The hymns are:

  Gather the Spirit. #347 in grey.  He has a different approach to this
hymn that should be fun!

  Come and Go With Me To That Land. #1018 teal


Bring your hymn books if you have them, although there are also plenty in
the sanctuary!


For the remainder of the rehearsal Eliza will lead in going over parts and
running through the music we've been working on.  It will be a great time
to really work on any insecure spots in your parts!


And, by the way, last weekend  Verdis was announced as the new artistic
director for the Montpelier Community Gospel Choir, beginning next year!
