Oh but the Rainbow part is the really fun part! And with the ukelele! It's like the version made famouse by the Hawaiian uke player IZ. I vote for the whole thing!

Hello!

 

For April I am planning on us singing What a Wonderful World, and just can't make my mind up between 2 very different arrangements.  So I am taking a vote.  You only get to vote if you expect to be singing with us!  A link to vote and leave comments is at the end of this email--please don't  reply to the email unless the link isn't working for you.

 

The first is a more classic arrangement.  Here is a high school chorus singing it quite nicely, (although they all look like they are in fear for their lives lest they look like they are having fun.)

The other is the more recent version, accompanied by ukelele (Bob Sassamann?) although we could also use a guitar--anyway we could figure that part out.  Combined with Over the Rainbow.

They both have pretty much the same vocal range.  The second requires more rhythmic precision so in that way would take a little more work.   The first would require more attention on the harmonies.

 

The other piece we do for April will be a more "serious" piece, yet to be decided.
