[Choir] this week

Hello!

We have had a change in this week's service--our Ginny was going to be the
guest preacher but she discovered while travelling that she has covid!
 Best wishes to Ginny for a mild course and speedy recovery.  (Fortunately,
for our sakes, she has not been at choir for a little while.)

Verdis will be stepping in as guest preacher.  What this means for us is
that the choir will NOT be doing the covenant song at this week's
service, which was related to Ginny's sermon.  The main musical offering
will instead be done by a quartet from the gospel choir, singing something
that relates directly to Verdis' sermon.

So the choir will have a week off from preparing something for the
service.   At rehearsal Thursday we will still continue working on
Covenant, for use in the future, as well as introducing some new music.  I
will be creating practice tracks for Covenant but probably not this
week, since it is not as time pressured.  We'll also go over any hymns that
we will sing this week, hoping that many of you will still come to the
service and support the hymn singing.
