[Choir] some links and last year's recording of Do Not Carry

Hello!

Great rehearsal last night--you all are sounding fabulous!

Here are a few links for your interest (since it's just a week until Music
Sunday I'll just give them here rather than putting them on our choir page):

Again, here is Patricia Norton teaching Mourning Dove along with my notes
about it:
*The actual teaching of the song starts at around 5'45".   She does melody,
then adds soprano and tenor parts.  I notice a couple of differences to our
arrangement:   the whole thing is a step higher than we sing it; and, she
sings the tenor part an octave higher, as a high harmony rather than a low
harmony.  There is also one note in the tenor part, in m 53, that is
different than what is written in our music (possibly our music should be
changed?).*

*But she has a sweet lovely voice and sings it over and over, so this could
be both enjoyable and helpful to some of you.*
