Today's flower ceremony reminded me that a choir is most definitely like a gathering of many different kinds of flowers. I think our current birthday girl -- Heather Moz, celebrating a birthday tomorrow! -- is like a sunflower! Strong and definite with a very powerful presence! Yet not showy, like a peony or a rose. Beautiful, useful, and ready to take center stage whenever needed ...
