Ok, more pondering done and had a talk with Rev Joan.  We will not cancel but will require testing and masking.  As usual, we have plenty of tests at the church--both antigen and LAMP (the pcr type test).  Everyone please test either tonight or tomorrow morning AND late afternoon before choir.  And please don't come if you have symptoms.   That should provide enough layers of protection for all.

Stay healthy, everyone--hope to see a bunch of you tomorrow at 6!  (5:30 if singing for the Jenney service)

Joan is checking in with the Jenney family.  I'll keep you posted if they choose for us not to sing.

Heather has tested positive.  She isn't feeling too badly, so that is good.  But this makes me feel that there is too much uncertainty to just go forward normally through the end of the year.

One option is just to cancel for the rest of the year (namely, this week's rehearsal and service).

Another option might be to hold our next rehearsal masked and distanced, just like old times ;), and have everyone who still wishes to sing test each day between now and Sunday, and mask for the service.  Participation of course would be optional.

The same protocol would be followed for those singing for Dick Jenney's service.  Although I think we will want to let the family know--they may well choose to not have us sing.

I welcome your thoughts.
