[Choir] YES rehearsal this week! and question

Hi all,

We will have rehearsal as usual this week!

I'm wondering what people think about doing an additional performance after
all of our Music Sunday program, now that it has been postponed to May
19th.   I'm thinking that if we were to do it, it might be later than 4:00,
maybe at 6 pm as the days will be getting warmer and longer.   One thing
that is an issue is that we no longer have Toussaint St Negritude as a
guest artist and so would want to find someone else to fill out the program
for a public offering.  At this late date that wouldn't be easy, but
thought I could see if David Ruffin might like to do a couple songs.  If he
didn't and nothing else easily presented itself I would let it go.  But I
wanted to poll all of you before asking him.

The reasons for doing it are:
It's fun for us to do the program again and for a wider audience, and it's
good for the community, good for the church.
We can make some money--last year the money we made paid for David Ruffin's
workshop.

Reasons against would be if we had a number of people who couldn't make it
that afternoon/evening, or if you really don't want to!!

Please reply with your thoughts, especially if you wouldn't be able to do
the second performance that day.   I'm not wedded to doing this, but
someone asked if, now that it is postponed, that we now could, and I
started thinking it might be possible, as long as things fell into place
easily.
