Hello!

A few updates, and reminders:

Expect the Carol sing portion of this Thursday's rehearsal to go until
closer to 7:00.  After that UCM choir will spend a little time on the Xmas
eve music.

Call time on Sunday is 3:00. Dress will be some combination of red, green,
black, white.

There is a change in our guest musicians!  David Ruffin will be replacing
Marc Gwinn.  If you see a poster and have a pen, feel free to make that
change!

Below you will find a post that can go in your local Front Porch Forum.
Please post!  I will post in East Montpelier but we can use postings in
Montpelier and outlying towns.

*UCM Choir:*   We will not be singing for this Sunday morning's (Dec 15th)
service after all.  Come and enjoy the No Rehearsal Pageant without having
to get up early, and save your energy for the afternoon!

The choir will do something simple for the service on the 22nd as the
prelude (Marc Gwinn will be supplying the offering music).  We would not
need everyone should you wish to skip this service.  Timing for Christmas
eve service and extra rehearsal can be found on the website :

*Montpelier Community Carol Sing!*

Montpelier's 51st Community Carol Sing is this Sunday, December 15th at
4:30 pm at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier.  All are welcome! Apart from
a holiday carol sing-along, this year's event features performances by
David Ruffin, traditional music ensemble "North Branch" (Susan Reid and
Kenric Kite, fiddles; Grant Orenstein, guitar,) and a combined 40 member
choir.
Admission is free!    Donations will be accepted for the Good Samaritan
Haven. The Unitarian Church is happy to report that their new elevator is
now installed and working, so the event is fully accessible!
