[Choir] Singing at Maggie Rebman's service

Hello -

This is very sad news.

Maggie is the reason I joined UCM 29 years ago. It wouldn't have mattered
to me what the denomination of the church was, when I walked
into the sanctuary - baby Faith in my arms with Henry Bissex offering to
hold her while we got settled - I wanted to hear as much wisdom as she had
to impart. She nurtured each of my children - with the exception of
William, who was 8 when she left, into the people they have become.

I know Paula will have great ideas about music - but something fun and
perhaps a little bit not what you'd expect is the spirit I think of with
Maggie. She loved Paula's guitar.
Maybe we can do the Rhubarb crumble - which many of the us have the recipe
for - which we made every year at the end of the church year. I also made a
flower arrangement with rhubarb leaves and flowers for that service. It was
poking fun at some Christian service, but I forget which.

There are so many memories, but I would say Maggie was someone who did have
favorites and liked creating our and her own traditions at UCM.

*I will be there no matter what, but all times before the 25th are best for
me.*

With gratitude,
*Beth*
