Donia,

Our Thursday rehearsal was really productive; we went over several pieces,
in parts and in runs through.
Eliza pushed the piano to the center of the chancel, so she could direct
and accompany at the same time.  Actually, Diane helped do the heavy
lifting.
Eliza had the script for the rehearsal, and singers from various sections
made requests for working through specific passages.
The rapport was palpable.  I'm glad that Eliza had only a short time to be
anxious about being thrust out of her comfort zone because she did great!
