[Coc] Draft Strategic Plan from Task Force

Dear Committee of Chairs,

Members of the 2020 Vision Task Force are looking forward to meeting with
you on Tuesday, April 12th to share the current draft of the strategic plan
and to hear your feedback. Attached you will find a PDF of both the
congregation approved vision statement and the current draft plan.

The Outcomes are presented in the order in which they appear in the Vision
Statement. You will see that we have not yet drafted all Indicators of
Success for all Outcomes.

We will appreciate your careful review and active engagement with the
draft. (You may notice places where your committee is mentioned in the
document.) We look forward to a candid and productive conversation, and to
hearing your questions, comments, and suggestions.

The board recently reviewed this draft and the task force will also seek
input from the staff and the Executive Team at their upcoming meetings.

After these meetings, we will put together all that we will have heard and
return to the Outcomes draft for further consideration and revision. A
revised plan will be presented to the board at its June meeting.

We look forward to hearing your initial thoughts on the document and on
next steps in the process.
