[Coc] Invitation to Social Responsibility Committee Retreat

Hello fellow UCM committee chairs,

The Social Responsibility Committee is having our retreat on August 7, 
from 12-4pm at a location yet to be determined.  My co-chair, Mark 
Hughes, and I are working with Judith Hinds to put together our agenda 
currently.  I would like to invite one member of your committee (not 
necessarily a chair) to our retreat, as part of the first steps in 
creating more inter-committee communication.

UCM's new Strategic Plan calls out a number of committees by name (SRC 
included) to work together in 2016. We hope that a representative from 
your committee at our retreat can start the process of connecting the 
works that we all do.

I am a new chair and new to the congregation so I'm leaving it up to the 
chairs whether you think your committee would benefit from having a 
member attend our retreat.  I know there is some overlap between 
committees so you may already have someone attending.  I would love to 
have a member from Welcoming, Adult RE and Communications at the very 
least.

make sure they get on our list for retreat information.
