Congregational leaders know there is always so much more that they could do
than there is time and resources in their congregations to do. Small
churches with part time ministers, religious educators, or musicians
sometimes struggle with the desire for a full time vital church without the
full time staff to support it. Lay volunteers can add so much to the life
of the church, but generational shifts in our church demographics and
changing patterns of volunteerism create additional challenges.

Bring a leadership team from your congregation to think together about:

   - *Avoiding staff and volunteer burnout*
   - *Knowing who you are and what you can do*
   - *Deciding how to decide what you will do*
   - *Focusing on the gifts and passions of your people*
   - *Letting go of making everyone happy*
   - *Collaborating for greater impact*
   - *Leading strategically*

This workshop is designed for leadership teams to take time apart from the
day-to-day running of the church to focus on some big questions and make
space for big ideas.

   your congregational colleagues as well as the chance to learn from and with
   peers in other New England congregations.


   - *Online events* cannot offer the same time or opportunity for
   cross-congregational dialogue and team application as our in-person events.
