Dear Committee Chairs,

I hope you all have been enjoying these (rainy) summer days and finding
ways to rest and renew your spirits!

I am writing to invite you to a daylong (9:30am-3pm) retreat on Saturday,
August 12. Details are below. The purpose of the retreat is to deepen our
understanding of the growth and change we are experiencing as a church
community and to begin discussions of some key questions for the upcoming
year.

you think would be interested in attending.

*What: *UCM Shared Ministry Retreat
*When: *Saturday, August 12, 9:30am-3pm
*Who: *Staff, Executive Team, Committee Chairs, and any other interested
church members/friends
*Where:* UCM Vestry
*Description of Event: *Join Rev. Joan, the UCM staff, Executive Team,
committee chairs and other church leaders for a day-long retreat. Hilary
Allen, Innovation & Growth Specialist with the New England Region UUA, will
lead us in learning together about the impacts of congregational growth and
how we lead through times of growth and change. We will also begin
discussions about major initiatives coming up this next church year,
including experimentation with two Sunday services, re-envisioning
religious education, and more. A brief time of worship will open and close
the event. *Coffee, beverages, and snacks will be provided. Potluck lunch.*
