Hello Friends,

I just wanted to let you know that Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week (April 3,4,5) the power will be out in the sanctuary while we replace the main wiring feed to the sub panel near the organ. At project’s end we will install new LED switches to control the sanctuary lighting. This main electrical line to the sanctuary consists of wire nearly one hundred years old, is out of code, and ungrounded!

We were initially going to paint the flooring under the pews at the same time the sanctuary was out of commission but have scotched that plan when we learned, upon our painter’s inquiry, that all floor and deck paints contain some VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Painting of the flooring will be postponed until summer recess.
