[Coc] Training available

    The Safety Committee is offering CPR training by Montpelier Fire Department staff and an orientation to the new defibrillator recently installed in the Vestry on Friday, March 16th from 1:00 to 4:00PM. (A defibrillator is used to give an electric shock to a person who has experienced a sudden cardiac event in order to restart the heart. It is used in conjunction with CPR.) The church will subsidize some of the training costs. Therefore, there will only be a charge to each participant of $17 for the training and $18 for a card certifying that you have had the training and are able to use the device and administer CPR. If you would like to take part in this training, please email Tina Muncy at tmuncy at myfairpoint.net. Only 15 people may take part in this training so if you are interested, please let us know.
