 Dear CoC Members,
As you may know, the Board has named a Steering Committee to oversee planning of the Building for the Future (BFF) project. That group is co-chaired by Paul Ohlson and Jen Miller-Arsenault. They in turn are designating several Work Groups to implement various aspects of the project, e.g. educating the congregation, overseeing the construction process, raising funds, and managing project finances. On October 27th, the congregation will be asked to approve an aspirational comprehensive plan for staffing and building modifications, and to approve hiring a financial feasibility consultant who will help the Board determine whether UCM can raise the funds needed to actualize such a plan. 

The Education Work Group (co-chaired by us, Sarah and Judith) will be holding a congregational forum in September and numerous small group meetings throughout August and September -- some in people's homes, some at church. We would love to attend a meeting of your committee or team during that time frame. We would take about 40 minutes of your time to present an overview of the BFF project and answer your questions. Please invite us! Just contact Sarah (sarah.d.wolfe at gmail.com) or me (jrhinds1185 at yahoo.com) with your date, time, and location. We'll identify two members of our work group or the Steering Committee who can match up with your schedule. And presto! you will be educated!
In addition, if you would be willing to hold a "cottage meeting" in your home to invite a few church friends to learn about Building for the Future, please contact Jo Romano (jo at greenmountainlifecoach.com) ASAP to set up a date.
