[Coc] End-of-year financial status

Dear Committee Chairs, staff, and Church Leaders,

The 40th consecutive Sunday of worship is upon us, and for many of us
this means the end of, or at least pause in, church related
activities. But it isn't really over until it's over. This note is to
remind you that the budget year ends at the end of June, and that is
actually a hard stop vis-a-vis financial matters.

If you have any outstanding invoices, receipts, expense vouchers or
the like, please be sure they are submitted by June 26 to ensure that
they will be paid in this fiscal year.

If there is something you need or intended to purchase for your
program or committee, please do it now and submit the documentation as
soon as possible. If there is money left in your budget line or area,
don't feel obliged to spend it as projections indicate a close finish
at end of year. Leaving some money on the table is not a bad thing.
