[CoC] Activities Fair & CoC Mtg

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the new UCM Church Year! I hope you're all doing well.

I wanted to invite you all to our Fall Activities Fair, which will be *in
the Vestry during Coffee Hour (11A - 12P) on Sunday, October 16* -- this is
a tangential part of our "New UU" series of classes (taking place
Wednesday, October 5th and Saturday, October 15th) and opportunities for
Newcomers, Visitors, Friends, and Members to learn (and/or be reminded of)
about all the many ways they may wish to connect with various programs and
teams that are currently active -- we would love to have tables with
representatives and/or information and sign-up/interest forms for the
Women's Alliance; Community Lunch; LSE; Adult LSE; Small Group Ministries;
Racial Justice Group, and Climate Action Team -- as well as any others that
wish to be represented and take some time to chat with people about what
you do and how they might join you in your important work!

You're welcome to plan for this in any way that works for your team --
bring a tablecloth and/or table decorations; decorate a bulletin board in
advance; print give-away postcards and/or flyers with information about
upcoming events; create sign-up sheets for recruiting volunteers or sharing
information/details with people who don't want to 'volunteer' but would
like to learn more; bring treats/baked goodies to share; etc.

And of course, since this will be just three Sundays from now, if your team
doesn't currently have the capacity to staff a table that Sunday, but would
like us at the Membership & Hospitality Table to share some information and
have a volunteer sign-up and/or informational sign-up sheet(s) for your
team, let me know.

I also wanted to give you all a *Save The Date* reminder that our *Fall
Committee of Chairs (CoC) Meeting* is coming up -- it will be *Tuesday,
October 18th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM*, with an option to BYO dinner at 6 AM for
some socializing time before we begin the meeting. Please add the date and
time to your calendars, and watch for additional details coming soon!
